Greetings in the Lord.  Last Sunday was very special because about 20 people were baptized in the presence of over 800 people.  It was a powerful event and many were moved as even prebelievers felt the powerful presence of God in our midst.  Special mention to the 4 from EM who were among those baptized: Joy, Penny, Gloria, and Patrick.  Also, Jenna who confirmed her faith and Wenyau who transferred church membership to SLPC. 

 

And at the EM, we had a special candle-lighting service.  Jesus is the light of the world and came to a dark place, but he has brought light into our lives.  Let us recognize that we belong to God and that we are children of light.

 

We continue to hear good news about the Christmas Program.  It’s just so wonderful.  If you’d like to share with us, please email me as it would encourage many people. 

 

 

Let us also support EM brothers and sisters when they have performances to display their gifts, such as Melody’s organ concert on 12/22 at Jing-Mei Church.  Teacher Chu also sang a few solos while Yishan played the piano.
