Happy Thanksgiving!

In the "land of plenty", that is, America, Thanksgiving Day is being celebrated on the last Thursday in November as families gather together over a big feast, which almost always includes... a turkey (i.e., a big chicken)!

Interestingly, some Asian families choose to serve duck instead of turkey.  In the churches in Taiwan, Thanksgiving is also growing in popularity as Christians are reminded of all that God has blessed us with.  Upon these reminders, how can we afford not to have thankful hearts?

Blessings to you on this Thanksgiving Day,

Pastor Peter

About the English Ministry (EM) :

The EM began in March 2006.

We are part of Suang-Lien Presbyterian Church (a member of the Presbyterian Church in Taiwan), which already has services in Taiwanese and Mandarin.

Regarding the EM, we are "doing a new thing" (Isaiah 43:19) in our obedience to Jesus Christ as we welcome people of all nations and for all times (Matthew 28:19-20).
